Ingredients Of shahi paneer

  • Paneer - 250g (cubed)
  • Tomato – 2 medium
  • Cashews – 10–12
  • - Fresh cream – 3 tbsp
  • Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
  • - Garam masala – ½ tsp
  • Turmeric – ¼ tsp
  • Red chili powder – ½ tsp
  • - Salt – to taste /li>
  • Oil or spices – 2 tbsp
  • Water – as needed

How to Make shahi paneer

  1. - Make cashew paste: Blend soaked cashews with a little water until smooth.
  2. - Sauté onions: Heat oil/spices, cook onions until golden. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté.
  3. - Add tomato puree: Cook until oil separates.
  4. - Spice it up: Add turmeric, chili powder, garam masala, and salt.
  5. - Creamy base: Mix in cashew paste and cook for 2–3 mins. Add cream and a splash of water.
  6. - Add paneer: Gently stir in paneer cubes. Simmer for 5 mins.
  7. - Garnish: Top with fresh coriander or a swirl of cream.
